Alloc Original and Domestic flooring features a patented mechanical locking system that replaces the traditional glued tongue and groove joint, offering a strong, precise aluminum joint that will not come apart. This technology allows Alloc Domestic to offer the industry's only 5 Star Warranty covering joint integrity, fading, staining, wear and water resistance. In addition, the system allows for a perfectly aligned installation, eliminating alignment difficulties that exist during a glued installation.

Alloc Domestic is perfect for numerous applications, and can be installed in half the time of a glued laminate allowing the flooring to be installed and used in the same day!

Alloc Domestic offers a direct pressure laminate top, a high density fiberboard core, and a laminate backing, providing a well balanced, durable floor. Alloc Dmoestic's edges are sealed with wax, offering superior spill resistance.

To this quality base structure, the mechanical scarf joint of aluminium and its integral locking system, wax sealed edges and a new silent system rubber-like underlayment are added for a complete, ready to use product with tight tolerances. The chosen components and materials are selected to be environmentally friendly and recyclable.

ALLOC benfits at time of installation
1. The floor planks will be positioned and aligned with precision due to the integral patented scarfjoint system. (no cracks between planks)

2. The joint will have great strength that will not deteriorate over time or due to forces acting upon it. (500 kp / m; 28 lb / inch)

3. It can be installed at a pace of 450 square feet per hour, compared to regular laminate flooring at less than 100 square feet per hour. It is easy to saw with a regular hand saw or electric circle-, or jig saw.

4. Some installation errors can be corrected easily since the planks are not glued together.

5. If the subfloor is not perfect prior to installation it is easy to make corrections as you go by taking up a plank filling in e.g a low point and replacing the plank again. It is further suitable to install over a subfloor that has radiant heating.

6. Twice as large areas can be installed without expansion joints. Regular laminated floors require expansion joints when the area exceeds 1000 square feet or a length of 30 feet.

7. No messy glue is needed. (no wipe-off, no risk for poor application)

8. The underlayment is built into the product. No need to buy separate rolls with possible excess material. No labor cost for measuring and cutting and positioning an underlayment on top of the subfloor.

9. You can move the furniture around in the room as you install. There is no glue that needs to dry and you can use the floor as soon as it is installed.

Care
Clean Alloc with either a vacuum cleaner broom or dust mop. When required, the floor may be cleaned with a damp cloth and a synthetic detergent; do not use a dripping wet mop. For spot cleaning use a synthetic non-abrasive cleaner. Never apply waxes, sealers, or polish to your Alloc floor Put a door mat inside the front door and place floor protectors under furniture legs to prevent scratches and keep the beauty of your Alloc floor.

Our exclusive Five Star Limited Warranty covers the following areas:

1. Joint Integrity
   Alloc Domestic floorings joint locking system will align the floor planks mechanically upon installation, provide a secure precision joint over time, and allow for easy replacement of damaged planks.

2. Stain Resistance
   Alloc Domestic will resist stains.

3. Fade Resistance
   Alloc Domestic flooring will not fade from exposure to sunlight or normal artificial light.

4. Wear Resistance
   Alloc Domestic floorings decorative surface will not wear through during normal residential use.

5. Water Resistance
   Alloc Domestic flooring will resist water damage under normal use conditions. Alloc Original flooring will not swell, peak or delaminate at the seams, provided that water is promptly removed and the floor is allowed to dry.

LENGTH of COVERAGE

This warranty lasts 30-Years for ALLOC Domestic. The warranty is only valid for the original end-consumer and is not transferable.

WHAT ALLOC WILL DO

If a product problem under warranty is acknowledged, Alloc will replace defective planks with planks of the same design, if available, or another design of equal value. You will be responsible for any labor costs associated with the removal of the damaged floor and installation of the replacement floor.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THAT OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION to the duration OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY.

This warranty does not cover damage to the product caused by:

• installation error

• accident, product misuse or product abuse, such as scratches, blows, cuts or damage caused by sand or other abrasive materials, whether caused by a contractor, a service company or a consumer

• nonresidential use

• improper maintenance

• flooding, standing water or water that is trapped between the subfloor and Alloc Original flooring

This warranty does not cover defects that are not clearly visible, such as surface wear, stains or fading less than one square inch in size.

Norske Skog Flooring (USA), Inc. is not responsible for labor charges, installation charges or similar costs. Consequential, special and incidental charges are not recoverable under this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

WARRANTY SERVICE

To register your warranty, you MUST return the attached Registration Certificate, with a copy of your original purchase sales receipt, within 30 days of purchasing the flooring. If you need to file a claim, do so through the retailer from whom you purchased the product.

STATE LAW

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

To activate warranty service, you must contact your ALLOC dealer within the specified warranty time period and not more than (30) days after the defect is identified.

If a claim is accepted by Norske Skog Flooring (USA) Inc., it will replace the defective plank(s) in the same design if available, or another design of equal value. It will not cover the cost of labor. This limited warranty does neither cover damage caused by improper installation or care, accidents, abuse and misuse, such as cleaning with abrasive materials, cutting, scratching and impact; also incidental and consequential damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary, from stat to state. Claims shall be made in writing within (30) days of detection of occurrence and sent to:
